Milk Dud at The Bluffs
Milk Dud went on a vacation to the The Bluffs. She was very excited to stay at Lacy’s cottage. Lacy’s three sisters welcomed her and let her play house with them. Outside Lacy’s cottage was The Cheetah Forest where the sisters and Baby Milk Dud like to play. Lacy spent a lot of time carrying Milk Dud over the bridge so that she wouldn’t get her beautiful clothes and wings dirty. Cole and Kindle, the next door neighbors, came over to meet Milk Dud. When the sisters and the boys started looking for a collection of millipedes, Milk Dud decided she was tired. Lacy took her into the cottage and the housekeeper made a nice, soft bed for her to take a nap. After having spaghetti casserole for dinner, Lacy and Milk Dud read some books with the gatekeeper and then went to bed. Milk Dud was scared to be on the top bunk so the housekeeper found another bear to lay with her.
While Lacy and her sisters were at school, Milk Dud spent the rainy day in bed reading. She told the housekeeper that there is nothing better than reading a good book when it is raining. When Lacy came home from school, she and Milk Dud played hospital. Milk Dud wasn’t feeling sick, but she felt much better after Dr. Jones gave her some shots and put on some bandages. The housekeeper made chicken for dinner and that made Milk Dud cry. She told Lacy that some of her friends were chickens. The housekeeper assured Milk Dud that these were not her friends. These chickens came from Freezer City not Creek View. After playing dress up with Lacy and her sisters, it was time to take a bath, read a book and then go to bed.
Milk Dud enjoyed her vacation at The Bluffs. The housekeeper enjoyed having this special guest. She didn’t make any messes and stayed in bed all night.
